Dervaig village holds a Producers Market every other Sunday during the summer. This gives the local producers the opportunity to sell their goods directly to the villagers and to the people on holiday. This includes locally reared beef and lamb, home grown vegetables, a selection of local cheese, home baking and shellfish. Locally harvested mussels, freshly caught crabs, lobsters and oysters. This has become a social event for local people and visitors alike and in true village style the great attraction is a chat over a cup of tea and home made cakes afterwards. Look out for the recumbent tricycle, if you spot it, John is around.

The cottage is owned and managed by Sid, Liz, John and Jo as a self catering business since 1989 with John and Jo living only a mile from the village and will come over and meet you during your stay, Jo is the care taker for the cottage and can be contacted at home.
